Hey Liberty Lake Family!

It is hard to believe that this marks ten incredible years as your principal, and I am genuinely excited to commence another remarkable school year with all of you. As we embark on the 2024-2025 academic year, our theme will focus on Kindness and Growth.

Liberty Lake Elementary has come a long way since opening its doors in 1998. We've grown right alongside our wonderful community, and our mission remains strong: to equip our future citizens with top-notch academics, strong character, and a deep sense of community. And we do it all together, with our incredible staff, supportive district, outstanding PTSA, and dedicated parents. We set high expectations and provide maximum support for every student—and each other—every single day!

Collaboration is Key! To make sure we’re always at our best, Thursday mornings are all about team and school-wide collaboration. Students arrive an hour later, giving us precious time to learn together, share best practices, and dive into data and student work. This collaborative time has been invaluable, helping us to continually improve our instructional practices and provide the best support for our students.

Focus on the Whole Child While academics are a big part of what we do, we're also deeply committed to nurturing our students' character and addressing their social and emotional needs. Each month, we'll spotlight a different character trait, and you'll see our focus on kindness and growth woven throughout everything we do.
